NEW INTERACTIVE WEBPAGE ON IMPACT OF CEF TRANSPORT
As part of the activities linked to the 10th anniversary of the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) Programme, CINEA has launched a new interactive webpage to showcase its contribution to greening and decarbonising the transport sector. CEF is a key EU funding instrument for delivering the European Green Deal and an important enabler for the Union’s decarbonisation objectives for 2030 and 2050.
The new web page features a mix of text as well as pictures, data and, most importantly, interactive maps where users can zoom and identify CEF projects throughout the European Union. Focus areas are railway transport and ERTMS, inland waterways, ports and alternative fuels with the overall objective to demonstrate how EU investments throughout the years are having a positive impact to the continent’s transport networks, yielding concrete benefits for businesses and citizens alike.
